Current Exhibition

We are pleased to announce our newest exhibition 「Past to Present; Form to Less」featuring George Chann, Hsiao Chin, Sadamasa Motonaga, and Ikue Furukawa’s selected artworks. The exhibition spans from the earliest creations of George Chann in the 1930s to the contemporary abstract art of Ikue Furukawa.

George Chann slowly transitioned from human portraits to creating works centered around the abstract form of deconstructed text. Sadamasa Motonaga, as a member of the Gutai movement, sought to experiment with materials while upholding the spirit of surpassing the Abstract Art movement. Similarly, Hsiao Chin served as a bridge for the exchange of abstract art between Asia and Europe. Due to the intertwine between past and present, we can truly appreciate the artworks featured in this exhibition.
